At BUILD By Ben and H. Bee Architecture, our interests are aligned in finding new materials to work with and incorporate into our work.

Finding unique products to work and design with in any industry is an exciting and energizing discovery. It gives a renewed style and function that you can integrate into old ideas giving them new life, or to start fresh with and create a new direction of style all together.

At BUILD By Ben and H. Bee Architecture, our interests are aligned in finding new materials to work with and incorporate into our work. We are passionate about this process as we continually try to broaden our approach and range of appealing interest with our wide variety of desires from our clients.

When we first found out about Thermally Modified Wood, we started researching the benefits and exceptional characteristics of the product and were thrilled to find such a material.

The high exterior durability offered in the Ash species opened a new world of possibility in design and application for us. Not only did we find out the performance qualities of the material are in high standard, but just as importantly to us, and to the people who we are working for, the visual appeal of the Ash is very desirable.

It wasn’t long after we made these realizations, we came in contact with CFP Woods and we were soon trying to find projects we could incorporate this product into. A new line of exterior furniture from BUILD By Ben was created using Thermally Roasted Ash, powder coated metal, and natural stone slabs offering a new, [desperately needed], approach and style of durable outdoor furniture. Similarly, H. Bee Architecture took little time rendering this Ash into project presentations and packages for clients focusing on exterior siding, and decorative exterior detail walls. We were met with highly positive reviews and interest from our existing and potential clients.

We continue to add new eco-friendly, sustainable products to our design and build inventory on a regular basis. The variety of durable, creative and aesthetically pleasing products at CFP Woods has given us a great library of matchless materials to continue to grow our design styles, and businesses as well.

The excitement continues.
